Description

El Ron Prohibido is a Mexican distillery that combines traditional distillation methods with modern practices to create high-quality rums. The brand’s history dates back to the 18th century when the prohibited rum, known as « Chinguirito, » was illegally imported to New Spain (present-day Mexico). Today, El Ron Prohibido honors this historical heritage by producing rums that are recognized for their excellence and complexity. The distillery uses the solera method, common in the production of Spanish rums and brandies, to age its rums, ensuring a high-quality final product.
